A racquet will only play as well as it is strung!

Many factors affect a racquet's playing potential.  Frame weight & balance, grip, string type, tension, and even stringing technique...probably the most important.  All these factors contribute significantly to how you and your racquet perform on the court.

The typical stringer is not knowledgeable of and therefore pays little attention to these crucial factors.  In fact, for most retailers and pro shops, stringing is secondary to their operations,  Moreover, independent stringers often utilize outdated equipment which has never been calibrated or received maintenance.  This, in turn, can produce inconsistent results.   As long as you continue to have your racquets strung at any of the "usual" places, you'll never get your racquet to perform at it's peak... let alone perform the same way twice.
